"I'll let you know," she promised. Her thoughts began to follow Xena's request. Well, if she doesn't trust a lot of people, we might be on the same page, she rationalized. "A few things about myself..." she trailed off. "Well, I grew up in Boston. I still appreciate the sites there, but I really wasn't happy growing up there, so I left right after high school."
She sat down across from Xena. "I still love history, and I'm hoping to settle down somewhere to study it one day, but first I need money. That's why I'm on the road... well, that and not wanting to be home." She shifted her eyes. "I've been working on a pretty interesting talent for the past few years, and I thought there might be profit in it. As I'm going from place to place, I've been working at it and improving it."
