Colette was having an unusually, particularly wonderful day. She didn't know why exactly. Nothing in particular had occurred to make this day stand out amongst the endless amounts that were the rest of the days in her everlasting life. But the sun was shining and the birds were singing and she supposed that was enough to make it a wonderful day. She tilted her face upwards, blonde locks falling backwards as she did so. A bright smile took hold of her features. Yes, certainly the weather was the reason for her happy mood. Gloomy days always made her feel a little down, which was a feat in and of itself since she was in a constant state of happiness. So it made sense to her that the sun was the reason for her extra happiness.
She pondered the loveliness of the day as she walked down the side walk, her white sundress swaying with each light step. However, much to her surprise, Colette was not very good at walking and losing herself in thought at the same time and before she knew it she found herself on the ground. She had accidentally run into something or someone. Looking up with big baby blue eyes she smiled nervously and said, "I am so sorry!" The lone figure of a boy stood above her, and immediately she felt terrible for running into him. She really needed to pay more attention to where she was walking because it was not at all kind of her to simply run into people like that; she might accidentally hurt someone and that would be terrible.
