Xena led her new friend into Star Bucks, where she saw a particularly good-looking guy. At first her heart skipped a beat or two? She couldn't tell, her mind was captured and locked on the handsome boy. Before she fully tripped head over heels, she remembered her friend was beside her.
After regaining control over her head, she walked forward, trying to ignore his shining smile. After a few seconds that felt like eternity, Xena made it to the clerk but without bumping into a few people along the way. She felt so embarrassed and ashamed that a guy made her feel like this, not like her strong, self-controlling self.
"Umm one frappuccino, please," Xena mumbled.
She moved over so her friend could order, but as she backed up she could feel someone bump into her. She did a swift turn to apologize but she saw that it was cute man he saw at the entrance. Shoots... Maybe he didn’t bump into me... Maybe I bumped into him... I probably should apologize to him... No wait, I was going to do that anyways... Argh!
"Sorry, wasn't watching where I was going," Xena quickly said feel her face go red.
OOC: Oks, i thought Xena would start liking him before hating him :X

Adrian was currently leaning against the counter of Starbucks, waiting for what seemed like an eternity for his drink. He turned his head towards the entrance, hearing the small bell toll once more. He would have turned around sooner, had his eyes not fell upon the two newcomers.
Adrian wasn’t normally one to gawk, but the two girls were, well…gawk worthy. He gave them a smile before turning back to face the counter, giving an exasperated sigh as he shook his head. “Let’s not make a complete fool out of our self today Adrian. They just want coffee, not a stalker.” He said as he moved slightly to the other side of the counter, waiting for his order. It was just his luck that he happened to bump into one of the girls.
Adrian couldn’t help but smile slightly at the girl’s rushed apology. “It’s quite alright; I wasn’t paying attention either so I probably bumped into you.” He said waving it off. “I haven’t had a caramel Frappuccino, so I’m not completely awake anyway. Adrian added looking up at the clock on the wall behind the counter. “Since it was 20 minutes ago, I don’t think I’ll ever get it.” He said with a slight pout.
If anyone knew him, they knew Adrian was a coffee addict. He would happily trade his last bits of food for a cup filled to the brim with caffeine rich goodness. He was somewhat uncoordinated without it, but it wasn’t really his fault in the beginning. His father thought it would be fun to see what he would be like hopped up on caffeine, so after giving the 12 year old a cup one morning, Adrian never turned back. Think of his joy when he found out you could add different flavors to the stuff.
(OOC: how about they end up fighting over the drink)

Almost as soon as they entered Starbucks, Xena started acting strange. Strange, even for her. Kathryn stopped to look around, wanting to get some clue of why she was being so fidgety. Xena had a slight blush, and The corners of her mouth pulled up into a smile, as she saw him, the object of Xena's affection. The guy was good-looking all right, and when he bumped into Xena, she went beet red. Interesting, Kathryn mused. So, the fabled warrior princess isn't as tough as she seems! Catching the eye of the man, she definitely knew why. He was very... Nice, if you knew what she meant. "One caramel latte," she quickly smiled at the cashier, then turned back to the two. This would be interesting. Kathryn stepped forward, answering for her obviously distraught friend. "Maybe you should switch to Tim Horton's," Kathryn laughed. Not wanting to be a bother, she simply said nothing more. Xena was the one that liked him, anyway. Not Kathryn. She wouldn't even try to get in the middle of it. Instead, she discreetly looked the guy over. Dark, slicked back hair and a smirk on his face... he was most probably a ladies man. That surprised Kathryn. She hadn't known that Xena was the type to fall for those kind of guys. In fact, any guys. There's more to her than meets the eye, Kath. And most likely him. I thought that you, of all people, would remember that. It was true. Kathryn was quite a complicated person, herself. Was it just her, though? Was everyone like that? She could never tell what they were thinking, and it really frustrated her. Was everyone really as simple-minded as they seemed? Would she ever find anyone she genuinely liked? Kathryn bit back a sigh and patiently waited for her latte. She probably wouldn't know, for a few years. Unless she died first, that was.

Xena gave him a slight frown of sympathy. "You'll get it some time this day," She assured him. "Oh and it's ok that you umm... bumped into me.... i think..." She stood there in front of the handsome guy and started to find something that could keep her mind off him. God, he is so cute... Argh, but he might not be in the inside, so why do i even like at the moment? This is so confusing and hopeless
Soon enough her mind wandered away to Kathryn, who was watching them. A smile was stamped on Kathryn's face and her eyes had a teasing glint in them. Xena narrowed her eyes, did a knife-slicing-neck motion towards Kathy, and mouthed the words Knock it off and shut it. Although she had a feeling Kathryn wouldn't and continue to be like that until something happened. Who knew Kathy could be a type of person who is interested in love story? Xena didn't until now. Hope she sticks her nose, head, ANY parts of her body out of this She finished her silent conversation with a roll of her eyes and went back to waiting for for her coffee.
The space around Xena felt uncomfortably warm and tight until the clerk called out, "Who ordered the Frappuccino?" saving Xena from it and the awkward silence that hung in the air. "Here," she called out and walked over to get her coffee. The clerk slid the coffee across the table until it landed in the grip of Xena's hand.
"Awesome that was pretty fast, 5-stars for this cafe," Xenna praised the coffee shop.
OOC: Lols on it

Adrian shrugged slightly at her attempt at optimism. “ Well considering everyone else who’s ordered after me as well, hasn’t gotten their drinks either,” he said motion to the few people sitting at tables looking at the counter hopefully, “ I don’t know if I would share your optimism.” He said with a small smile. He looked away from her for a moment, giving her friend a smile and a nod before looking back behind the counter, watching the employees try to fill the overflow of orders they’d accumulated. Adrian looked back to the clock on the wall, another 5 minutes passing with him being Frappuccino-less. Adrian dropped his head onto the counter, an audibly ‘thud’ soon after. “I….just…want…..my…..drink.” He said slowly, the sound muffled since he was well…face first into a counter. Adrian turned his head slightly, hearing footsteps approach. “Who ordered the frappuccino?’ Adrian bolted up from the counter, look of hope in his eyes. He had to admit, a smile did slide onto his face. “Finally.” He said with an exasperated sigh as he headed towards the clerk. He was taken aback slightly after he heard the girl claim it, his eye visibly twitching as he watched the cup slide across the counter top and landed in her dainty hand. Adrian honestly didn’t know how to handle the situation without seeming like an ass but, he wanted his drink. He ran a hand through his hair, a nervous habit of his before calling out to her. “Uh….I think that’s mine.” He said simply, an anxious laugh leaving his lips.
