Aliyah raised an eyebrow at him, distracted for a moment. "I think I can walk, thanks. Or would you like to ride on top of a dragon? Because I can easily carry you, too, remember." Cassiel. She reminisced, remembering how nervous he was while flying. I need to get out of here. Flashing a quick half-hearted smile at Mitchell, and started to walk slowly. She felt sick, seeing Cassiel with someone else. It shouldn't bother me, right? Aliyah quickly hid her expression. Perhaps some magic can help me. She created a confident air around her, an illusion. It was just to trick Mitchell, at least for a little while. You'll figure this out, alone. You have to. Right then, she decided to talk to the girl later, even get a look at her face. It's a bad idea, but I feel like I have to do this.

Mitchell grinned, putting his hands in his pockets. "Well, it's not every day that you get to ride on your..." He looked at her for a moment, then finished: "...girlfriend." He said it with a little uncertainty, but he didn't drop his smile. He hoped that she thought of him the same way. If they weren't together, what were they?
"Hey," he said all of the sudden, his eyes brightening. "Why don't we go to a hotel? I'd like to see a television again. My house is, ah...ancient." He pulled up his collar and glanced at her. He hated his little shack, but enjoyed the privacy, and the darkness.

Girlfriend. The word seemed odd, and somewhat ancient. Were they really together? She didn't have an answer to that. Her life was confusing as it was, and this just added to the pressure. Dating, love? They were just the most confusing things ever, it seemed. Aliyah, however, smiled back at Mitchell and thought, I'll figure this out later. She really didn't want to hurt Mitchell, either. It was just a little fast, especially all the kissing and lover's talk. She still wasn't over Cassiel yet. "Hey," Mitchell suddenly said. Aliyah turned her attention towards him, curious. "Why don't we go to a hotel? I'd like to see a television again. My house is, ah... ancient." Aliyah just nodded and returned a half-hearted smile. "Sure. I don't see why not," Alin paused for a moment. "Although, Mitch, there isn't much that you're missing." She had seen the world about a million times before, and it wasn't exactly much to brag about.

Mitchell blinked, his dark brown eyes staring blankly ahead as he thought. "Perhaps...the world has started to fuss about irrelevant, unimportant things. For instance, I've seen at least a dozen magazines with that...Kate Middleton and her stupid clothes. Who cares what she's wearing on that wretched body? It's ridiculous, really." He felt as though the world really needed a wake-up call. Perhaps all the vampires should rise up and eat the humans. At least the vampires were smart, knew how to survive.
Mitchell shook his head clear of such thoughts. The idea of taking over seemed both foolish and impossible. He focused on the now, and soon they were walking down the street towards LiaBelua, a three-star hotel. A bit simpler than the Jarrah, with all their five-star crap. He begun to appreciate the simplistic more and more often. He suspected it was because of Aliyah, and smiled.
Upon entering the hotel, it was slightly dusty and smelled old, but it looked nice and modern. A large, brown circular desk was in the center of the room. A rusty, out-of-place bell was sat beside a sign that read, "NO PETS. NO DRUGS. NO PROBLEM." He flicked out a finger and tapped the bell twice, waiting for someone to come.

"Perhaps...the world has started to fuss about irrelevant, unimportant things. For instance, I've seen at least a dozen magazines with that...Kate Middleton and her stupid clothes. Who cares what she's wearing on that wretched body? It's ridiculous, really." Aliyah nodded, delighted that Mitchell didn't approve of it, for she didn't either.
Aliyah Black waited for the host to come, she caught Mitchell's slight smile. Grinning, she whipped out her wallet to pay as the host came along. "How may I help you?" He sounded bored, an emotion opposite to the plastic smile glued onto his face. "Give us any room."
"That'll be-" She cut him off before he could name a ridiculous price. The motel wasn't worth it, but people were poor. You couldn't expect luxurious suites, top-of-the-notch televisions. All the man wanted to do was make a living. And a living she would give him.
"Just take 200. Will that do?" She smiled sweetly. This seemed to catch his attention. "Yes, but-" Laughing at the bewildered man, Aliyah waved him away. "Keep the change." She threw her wallet at him, and strode up the stairs. Mitchell would catch up, the silly vampire. "Room 13!" The man barely had time to shout.

Ha. And Cassiel apparently loved this girl. What a fool, if he couldn't tell that Kathryn wasn't her. For one full day, she had been tricking him. Did he not have suspicions? My doppelganger loves a crazy idiot. A possessed one, in fact. Where on earth did she earn her taste? But she then supposed that she should take this as a compliment. After all, she was quite the actress. "Should we be going, Cass?" Putting on her best innocent Aliyah look, Kathryn waited for him. She didn't think that she could use spells on a demon, and she wouldn't try, either. The guy took a really long time getting ready, something that always annoyed Kat. Then again, perhaps she was just used to being swift, running away all the time and all. Cassiel appeared a moment later, beside her. She tried her hardest not to lose her temper. "Ready?" she forced a small smile, not knowing how the heck anyone tolerated the demon. Kathryn, ruffled, brushed off her outfit, which was a black tank top and jeans, very casual. Of course, her hair fell in perfect curls on her shoulders.
[/size] OOC: Skipping to Cass&Kat, but afterwards, could the Aliyah&Cass confrontation happen? To move things along, anyway. Kat could go somewhere, and Aliyah comes along, alone. Sees Cassiel, Cassiel sees her, yak yak.

Cassiel appeared beside her, his face serious, tugging on his collar. He wore a black v-neck with a dark gray jacket over it. It was slightly snug around his neck and shoulders, where his frame was muscular. He'd just needed something to conceal his bullet wound, which pulsed with black veins and bled from time to time. His wound, from several years ago, kept re-opening. It had been a scar; nothing but a dark memory, but the demon's corruptive powers seemed to affect it greatly.
"Ready," he said, his voice almost cold. The demon had changed him significantly, although, he didn't notice himself. It was as if the demon had thrown a veil over his mind; not allowing him to think about negativity. I am stronger. I am faster. I am better, because of the demon, he sometimes told himself. Maybe it was for reassurance, or for a darker, more selfish reason.
Mitchell can't have her. But he wants her, and he will try. I will be ready for him, and when he comes, he's dead. I am stronger.
But was he, really? Sometimes, he retched blood and sulfur. His skin became hot. Nightmares plagued his sleeping hours. The demon was hard on him, as a vessel. Some part of him knew he needed help. But that part was clouded, distant, for the demon sensed his doubt and feared it. Feared the weakness that doubt brought. OOC: That's good! And sorry for the stupid post, it was forced. I haven't written for a while, and my writer's block has become writer's doubt xD

"Ready." It was cold. Heartless, even. Wasn't Aliyah a happy bubbly little dragon? What the hell was she doing with a demon like him? Anyway, Kathryn had to convince him that she, in fact, was Aliyah. For measure, she decided to recite a little spell. It wouldn't hurt. Believe my lies, Believe my truth. For all who near, I am a demon's love. Caring, kind and bold. I am Aliyah Black, Dragon of the night.
Kathryn hated rhyming, so she never bothered. It didn't have to rhyme, anyway, and she didn't have to say the spell out loud. Why would she? Of course Cassiel would find out! If not him, then the demon inside. Kathryn, daringly, took his hand to walk to the park. It must have been the spell she cast on herself, to act exactly like her doppelganger. "Let's go to the Rymori, Cass." The Rymori? Must have been special to them, for Kathryn herself didn't know where that was. Ha. Maybe the guy was rich, took her to expensive restaurants, and that was why Aliyah "loved" him. The spell could duplicate traits onto Kathryn, but not love. But no, Aliyah wasn't the type for money, and she probably had loads of it herself. Dragon, holy being, goddess and all. Kathryn strode out of the door, not bothering to wait for Cassiel. He would come. But suddenly, Kathryn gasped. It was morning, and the sky was jet black.
[/blockquote] OOC: It wasn't bad! How about they go to the Rymori, and Aliyah (without Mitchell) comes in there, being all reminiscent, blah blah blah, they see each other and Kat poofs? xD For a clearer picture.

OOC: That sounds good! Hahaha, imagine poor CassCass's shock. xD Cassiel swaggered after her, closing the door silently. He glanced at her, then followed her gaze to the black sky. His brow furrowed, studying the unnatural darkness. "I'm going to guess that isn't a storm," he muttered. He saw a mass of clouds, unlike he'd ever seen before; it had engulfed the sun and the sky, forcing both into an early midnight.
For a moment, he feared that the demon had something to do with it. He considered asking it, but then, dismissed the thought. The sky was too dark for any single demon to cause.
Doomsday? Eclipse? Death of the sun? Failed science test? He checked off the possibilities in his head. Hmmm. Eclipse sounded most likely, although, he didn't know. He wasn't one for keeping a calendar.
He couldn't take his eyes off the sky. Curiosity and fear was rippling through him, until he couldn't stand it anymore. "Maybe the people in the city know what happened," he said at last to Aliyah. His eyes flicked to his dark blue Volvo- a replacement for his old black one, which he'd sent rolling into the flames of his burning house.
Everyone thinks I am dead, He reminded himself. He, really, had no identity. Cassiel held out a hand for Aliyah and a smirk played across his lips. "Shall we be on our way?"
