DREW ANTHONY HALLOW Male • Taken • Vampire Vampire dinner parties? These were one thing Drew couldn’t understand at all. Members of the same guide all gathering together sitting around a large home-cooked meal in which no one touched. Food tasted plain, like cardboard and didn’t do much for a vampires system. To drink? Well, either glasses full of three hour old blood or wine. Old blood was the worst, it was cold and almost caused Drew to gag and possibly spit it all back into his cup. Instead he clenched the glass and swallowed it down before placing it on the table in front of him. Groups of vampires talked amongst each other about hunts, relationship and the odd werewolf. All childish hunts though, stalking an enemy in s ghost town. If theses people wanted a real fight, they needed to follow Drew around for a few days; They might even learn a thing or two. Most of the people around didn’t appear familiar at all. There were a few faces in which everyone knew though. Scarlet and her little followers, and the odd vampire he ran into on the streets. He wondered why other species weren’t invited to these things? Maybe they could actually eat the food instead of it being a decoration for the occasion. A tall glass of red wine sat in front of Drew as he eyed it down. Alcohol always fixed being bored and sitting alone. Maybe it would even amuse him. Drew snatched the glass in his palms and tilted the glass to his lips. He looked around for a moment making sure no attention was brought on to him before he tilted it further and chugged the entire glass.
He bent his chair back and looked at the ceiling in the room. The house they were in was old and had the most intricate designs etched into it. Designs flooded along the entire room forming it into art. The entire rooms attention was brought to one other male vampire who many seemed to be in awe over. “He brought down a house of humans without a single scream!” One of the impressed female vampires remarked. The whole room seemed to be impressed, but drew didn’t even want to look over at Scarlet. Since he met that woman he despised her and she would probably have something wrong about that. Comments flooded the room “that’s amazing! Tell me your secret?” People asked. Drew didn’t mean it, but he outright began to laugh. His laugh caused the room to fall silent and everyone’s face turned towards him. It was probably the alcohol in his system which caused him to build such a cocky attitude. “Try an entire founders party. I went in, barricaded the door and drained the blood from every one of them. And you find a man killing three humans in a house impressive?” He said, shaking his head in disgust. “If you pathetic excuse for vampires want to know the trick? it’s a tender spot on the neck, damaging the trachea and increasing the blood flow. The humans basically drown in their own blood“ He spit out, bending over to grab yet another glass of wine. “Amateurs.” He muttered, before looking back up at the ceiling.
The angry comments about him being a know-it-all and all that began disputing from the peoples mouths. Drew tipped his wine glass up, drinking the entire glass before standing up. He stood up and fixed the collar of his black shirt before walking off to sit on the front porch for a few minutes. Drew couldn’t help himself, he wanted to fit in with the rest at the party but he couldn’t. All the vampires seemed to be much older than him and still were naïve enough to not know how to be a vampire. And that fact disgusted him. How was the race going to survive with such a weak bunch?

Sitting alongside Scarlet, Ravenna was surrounded by murderers, as well as idiots. Killing was second nature to these people, just a sport. She was disgusted by their eagerness to kill, and how they bragged about it so excitedly. “He brought down a house of humans without a single scream!” A female remarked, obviously in awe. Ravenna was revolted by this, and rather hated the man who did so. She mored liked to feed on one human per day. Hey- no vampire was perfect. Ravenna sure wasn't, but she didn't take pride in it.
“That’s amazing! Tell me your secret?” It seemed like the whole room was mesmerised by this, while she wanted to puke. On him. Disgusting. Ravenna couldn't take it anymore, she stood up, murmured a "be right back," and excused herself out to the porch. Plopping herself in a chair, she decided to stay there for the rest of the party. Nobody understood her. However, her vampire ears couldn't help but pick up outrage in the dining room. A few moments later, a male stormed out to the porch. Amused, Raven wasn't noticed by him.
"And I'd thought that I'd have the porch to myself tonight." Ravenna stood, automatically thinking of other places to go. She wanted to be alone, and the vampire didn't help her any. He was really good-looking, though, she had to admit. Although, he was probably an idiot like the rest.

DREW ANTHONY HALLOW Male • Straight • Local Drew slowly sat on the front porch and set his gaze into the stars above. Out here, things were much more relaxing and he could finally be alone. Or, so he thought. A female voice from behind him rang through his ears and gave the poor boy a quick startle. His body swung around quickly as he peered at her with his wide, ocean-blue eyes. His jaw dropped a little as he began trying to speak a single sentence, but only odd sounds of made up words escaped his mouth. The girl was gorgeous, flawless and had most certainly caught his eye. “Y-You scared me.” Drew finally spoke. Drew was new to all the meetings with the vampires seeing as he was the newborn of the bunch. He hadn’t had the time to make friends or even ask any their names. Still he stared at the girl. He just couldn’t manage to take his eyes off of her pale, soft features. He knew that all vampires were beautiful, but she basically defined the word beautiful. Since his transformation, he had only ever wanted one thing. And those effects were what came with being a newborn vampire. But in Drew’s case, he was a newborn who had no one to hold him back. He didn’t understand the fact that killing an entire party of people was completely and utterly unacceptable and that one human had more than enough blood. His hunger was what controlled his thoughts. He was always on the run for something to sustain his hunger. “I haven’t met you before. I’m Drew. This is my first… odd.. Party. I’m a bit new to the whole vampire thing.” Drew said with a friendly smile on his face.
For a moment he looked at the door but then back at Raven. He bit his lower lip before asking her a question. He knew he didn’t know her that well, but she must have known more about this kind of thing then Drew did. “I think I made everyone in there mad.” He said, pointing to the door. “Do we have these things a lot? I mean.. I hate it. Its boring and they are all idiots…” He said, pausing before finishing. “If all those vampires don’t like me, Will they kill me?” Drew said widening his eyes. He wasn’t as strong as any of them, but he had the guts to tell them off. “I-I.. need another drink.” Drew said, as his nails began to dip into the wood on the porch. Maybe he was on edge? Hungry? And scared for what happened. COMMENTS: Lol, he is so weird xD

The man seemed quiet, perhaps he was shy. But no, he was looking her over. Ravenna rolled her eyes. Males. Especially vampires. Finally, he opened his mouth to speak. The words were shaky, and he seemed nervous. "Y-You scared me." Some kind of vampire he was, detecting every single sound. But perhaps she should take it as a compliment. She was good at being still. The vampire spoke again. "I haven't met you before. I'm Drew. This is my first, odd.. Party. I'm a bit new to the whole vampire thing." The vampire had a smile on his face, so Ravenna supposed that he was all right. "I'm Raven, and I'm not exactly experienced either." She paused, feeling a sudden hatred come over her. "I mean, I was only murdered five years ago. How immature am I?" Her sarcasm, it seemed, came out in the worst spots. She was going to scare off every man she met, at this rate. Then he said something that surprised her. "I think I made everyone in there mad." Amused, she looked him over. "You don't say?" So that's what all the commotion had been about. Ravenna vaguely wondered what he had done to set them off. She didn't speak again, because she could tell he wasn't finished. "Do we have these things a lot? I mean.. I hate it. Its boring and they are all idiots." The guy seemed flustered, so she let him rant. "If all those vampires don't like me, Will they kill me?" Ravenna narrowed her eyes. He did seem like a young vampire. It wasn't wise to tick off a room full of more powerful, stronger ones, so she had to (try) to be serious. "They are idiots. They have no heart whatsoever. And these parties? Just skip them. There are millions more vampires in the world. Not everyone comes. I mean, I can't skip them. I'm already in too deep. You aren't." She was about to say more, but he spoke again, seeming frustrated. Perhaps thirsty. “I-I.. need another drink." Ravenna smiled at him. "And do you want to go in there again? Most of them would kill you. I just hope you haven't made Scarlet angry. Now that... Wouldn't be good." She chose her words carefully. Scarlet would torture him first, mentally and physically. She'd kill all of your family and friends, everyone you've ever met. She'd torture them and make you watch. Then, she'd let you go. A broken mess of a vampire. But no, even this tortured existence needs to die. Scarlet would send vampires after you. Ravenna had seen some bad things over the years.

DREW ANTHONY HALLOW Male • Taken • Vampire Her name was Raven, such a pretty name for a vampire. And finally a newer vampire to talk to. Since he had been changed, he was faced against a world of stronger vampires who made fun of him and looked down upon him. “I was changed a month ago.” Drew said before biting on his lower lip. “Its been really hard on me. I can’t see my family or friends anymore. I just want my life back” Drew said as his body began to rock back and forth slightly. Some say he was just scared. But scared was an understatement. Drew was completely terrified. He lived one day getting told that monsters weren’t real and the next turned into one. He lived his human life in a wealthy family-oriented household. He was grown to learn manners and how to properly host a dinner party. And this? This was nothing close to a dinner party. He no longer lived in a millionaires house, but he settled in cheap motels around the city. He was forced to leave everything he ever loved. At first, he was upset and spent most of his days in tears. Now, he was angry. His anger had a way of overwhelming him and causing him to lash out amongst innocent humans. He wanted to know who and why someone took his life from him. It wasn’t fair to live a life he hadn’t chosen for himself.
Raven told him that these meetings weren’t necessary to go too, and with that said he would never go to one again. They were ridiculous and didn’t seem to get anything accomplished. They wasted a night which could be used to get things done. “Raven, you are older then I am. Does it stop?” He asked, looking down as if he were shy. Drew didn’t usually act this way, something about the entire night was off and he wanted to escape. It was almost as if he were in the upset kind of mood again where he wanted to drive a stake into his own heart. “Does the hunger stop? I’m so hungry all the time. I can eat and feel hungry again within minutes. Its not fair, I never wanted this. And I want to visit my family but I was told I couldn’t. I mean, I can hear blood pumping from a mile away and it changes me.” He said letting out a heavy sigh. “When I’m hungry, I’m a monster. I swear, I was such a gentleman when my heart still was beating. When I’m hungry I cant stop myself. Does that happen to everyone, or is it just this god damn curse on me?” He said realizing that he had scratched the paint off the porch steps. He knew Raven probably didn’t want to sit around and listen to him whine, but he finally met a young vampire. He wanted to know things that were unanswered to him. “Its all I can think about and the thoughts and hunger wont subside. I cant take this anymore.” He said. Drew was broken up, confused, upset, angry and didn’t know what to do to himself. He wasn’t given an explanation or an answer at first to what was happening to him. “You should have seen me on my first kill. I didn’t understand what I was, but I attacked and drained a life. I basically was laughing and crying all at the same time.” Drew said with a slight edge of laughter in his voice. Such a pathetic vampire. COMMENTS:

Although the vampire was practically telling her his life story, it didn't seem like he wanted to be pitied. How ironic. Ravenna gave her sympathy anyway, then stopped. Did anyone ever help her in her new life? No. Did anyone care? No. Did they care now? She almost laughed. Not likely. "I was cursed ten years ago." "If you want the truth," she continued, fixing her gaze on the distraught man. "Then it never goes away." Her face softened, but there was a new coldness growing inside her. "Even after years of battle, you're still a monster. You kill. Attempt to live a normal life, and it hurts even more." She blinked, remembering. "The craving always catches up with you, and the best you can do is answer it." Her voice lowered to a whisper. "You're better off that way." Realizing that she was just about to go into a mental state even worse than the other vampire, she frowned and averted her eyes from his face. Watching the grass sway back and forth, she realized that what she said, it was true. Ravenna was a monster, she would always be a monster. Truth was truth, and she hated people lying to her. Drew could react as he wished, but it didn't really matter to her anymore. After all, wasn't she better off- dead? "I'm going to go, you probably don't want to hear all this." She made a pitiful attempt at a smile, but it wasn't true. A song lyric popped into her head, and she felt that it suited her situation.
Take a look around Don't you see it See that you are the only real face in the room No one here has a clue what your feelin'
Ravenna stood up, and stepped off of the porch to sit on the steps. Exactly me, Good Charlotte. She didn't want to think, but useless reminiscent thoughts sprang up in her mind anyway.
OOC: Sorry that it's short, I just wanted to reply! (new face claim!)
